Wishbone Petros

Wishbone was an amazing dog. She was purchased at a yard sale in Jeannette for $10 in 2003 and is part of an amazing rescue dog story where friends and I rescued the parents, Wishbone at 10 weeks old and her siblings from a very bad situation. I can’t thank Marlene Frye enough for bringing this 2 1/2 lb. sweet puppy to my door that day on July 11, 2003, and Glenn Zaucha Wishbone s co-owner for assisting in rescuing these pups. The story of Wishbone snd Cha-Cha began . Her Siblings were placed in good homes And both Wishbone and Cha-Cha were trained and documented therapy dogs and did a wonderful service for many years to young and old. Brought joy to nursing homes Senior Center’s and were my personal emotional support animals. They had many frequent flyer miles and spent time in Florida , Carolinas and traveled first class on every trip. Wishbone melted everyone’s hearts that she met with her unique personality and was exposed to so many social situation locally and out of state and everybody knew Wishbone. They were very modest but also had notoriety making magazine covers and newspaper articles but Mostly for spreading smiles . Wishbone was an avid walker and walked a mile a day for 17 plus years . On her last 17th birthday she passed out over 100 cupcakes to friends and locals. She will be forever in many hearts, there are many special dogs but she was Angelic 😇 and God broke the mold when he made Wishbone her memories will live on forever ❤️
